Niseko Lift Pass Guide 2026-27: All Mountain Pass Prices, Where to Buy, and Which One to Choose
Niseko Hub Editorial Team · 2026/10/17

Where do you buy a Niseko lift pass, and which one should you get? Buy it on your phone the night before you ski, and pick the All Mountain Pass if you'll move between the four resorts, or the Hirafu & Hanazono pass if you'll stay around Hirafu or Hanazono. Niseko barely sells single-resort tickets, so your choice really comes down to those two passes, plus a few time-based, night and season options. Buying online lands you a few percent under the window price and skips the morning queue. If you want the exact math on which pass is cheaper for a family over five days, All Mountain vs Hirafu & Hanazono: which is cheaper for 5 days? works it out to the yen.
All prices below are 2026-27 rates checked on the official sites on 13 October 2026. Lift passes change every season, so confirm the current figures on the official pages right before you book.
There are really just two passes
Mt Niseko Annupuri carries four resorts side by side: Hirafu, Hanazono, Village and Annupuri. The All Mountain Pass covers all four; the Hirafu & Hanazono pass covers the two that are joined at the top of the hill, so if you stay at either one you can still ski different runs every day. What decides it is where you sleep. Staying at Village or Annupuri, or wanting a different resort each day, points to the All Mountain Pass; staying around Hirafu or Hanazono, the Hirafu & Hanazono pass is enough. If your accommodation isn't booked yet, settle Where should you stay in Niseko? first and the pass chooses itself.
On top of those two sit a couple of time-based tickets (a 50-hour pass and a 12-point pass), a night pass for evening skiing, and a season pass for a whole winter. You generally can't buy a single resort's day ticket on its own as a visitor.
All Mountain Pass prices (2026-27)
Prices shift across five periods (Niseko United, checked 13 October 2026). These are the window rates for an adult day pass; online is about 5% cheaper.
- Early (28 Nov – 11 Dec 2026): ¥8,800
- Regular (12–23 Dec 2026, 1–22 Mar 2027): ¥12,600
- Peak (24 Dec 2026 – 28 Feb 2027): ¥13,500
- Spring (23 Mar – 4 Apr 2027): ¥8,800
- Final (5 Apr – 5 May 2027): ¥6,300
At peak, a day pass is ¥11,500 for ages 13-15 and 65+, and ¥8,100 for ages 4-12. Children 3 and under get a free pass, issued at the window with the child present. Multi-day passes only work on consecutive days; a peak adult 7-day pass is ¥91,500. There's also a 12-point pass (¥7,500 adult) you spend over any days you like, and an online-only 50-hour pass (¥121,200 adult).
Hirafu & Hanazono pass prices (2026-27)
Adult day passes, online then window (Grand Hirafu, checked 13 October 2026).
- Early (28 Nov – 11 Dec): ¥7,400 / ¥7,800
- Regular (12–23 Dec, 1–22 Mar): ¥11,000 / ¥11,600
- Peak (24 Dec – 28 Feb): ¥11,800 / ¥12,500
- Spring (23 Mar – 4 Apr): ¥5,000 / ¥5,300
A peak child (4-12) day pass is ¥7,100 / ¥7,500. One thing that catches families out: the 4-to-7-day passes aren't sold at the Grand Hirafu window, only online. So a family skiing five days on this pass buys online.
Time passes, night passes and season passes
If you only ski half a day or just the evening, there are tickets that come in under a full day pass. The All Mountain 12-point pass spends a point per lift ride, which suits a morning-only or afternoon-only skier. Night skiing (4pm-7pm) runs on the Hirafu & Hanazono pass from 12 December to 22 March, with an adult evening pass around ¥5,700-6,200 online or ¥6,400-6,900 at the window (it shifts by period). For a whole winter, the Hirafu & Hanazono season pass is ¥172,600 online / ¥181,700 window for adults, ¥103,500 / ¥109,000 for children. Night and season prices move right after release, so check the latest on Grand Hirafu before you buy.

Where to buy: online ahead, or at the window
The All Mountain Pass is about 5% cheaper online and can be bought the same day you ski (Niseko United). You collect it by scanning the QR code in your confirmation email at a ticket machine at any of the four resorts, which pulls an IC card, so you skip the window line. As of 13 October, the 2026-27 online shop was still listed as "coming soon".
There are catches. An online pass can't be refunded or changed for any reason, including illness, injury, weather or transport delays. Your first purchase adds a ¥500 IC card fee per person that you don't get back either. The All Mountain Pass can't be bought online for the Early period, while the Hirafu & Hanazono 4-to-7-day passes are online-only. The safe split: buy multi-day passes once your dates are locked, and for a single day you're unsure about, check tomorrow's sky on Today's Niseko: snow and weather the night before and buy then.
Which pass should you choose?
From teaching here as an instructor, most first-timers spend their first two or three days on morning lessons and the gentle slopes at the base. Falls get heavier once you tire, so a full day pass often goes half-used. Start on the Hirafu & Hanazono pass or a 12-point pass, then add an All Mountain day once you're linking turns, and you'll actually use what you paid for.
If you hold an Ikon Pass or Mountain Collective, check your included days before buying anything; in 2025-26 these converted to All Mountain days by tier. Which one wins is laid out in Do the Ikon and Epic passes work in Niseko?. If you still need skis or outerwear, line up a shop in Niseko ski rental shops 2026-27 so your arrival day runs smoothly. A local tip: the most wasteful way to buy is to queue at the window on the morning you ski and pay full price. Buy on your phone the night before and it's cheaper and line-free; only the first time do you scan a QR at a machine.
