These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) set out the conditions for use of Niseko Hub (the “Site”). By using the Site, users are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
1. About the Site
The Site is a community portal for residents, visitors, and tourists of the Niseko area of Hokkaido, Japan (the towns of Kutchan, Niseko, Kyogoku, Hirafu, and Rankoshi). It provides a place to post and view information such as jobs and housing.
2. Accounts
An account is required to use certain features, such as posting listings.
Users are responsible for registering an account with accurate information and for managing their password appropriately.
The Operator is not liable for any damage arising from improper use of an account.
3. Listings
Users are responsible for the content they post, including job and housing information, contact details, and images.
Please post accurate and up-to-date information.
Posted information, including contact details, is published on the Site.
4. Prohibited Conduct
When using the Site, users must not engage in any of the following conduct.
- Conduct that violates laws or public order and morals.
- Posting false or misleading information.
- Infringing the copyright, privacy, likeness rights, or other rights of others.
- Defamation, harassment, or discriminatory conduct toward other users or third parties.
- Conduct that causes a nuisance to others, such as repeatedly posting identical or similar listings.
- Posting content unrelated to the purpose of the Site as a source of local information for the Niseko area.
- Interfering with the operation of the Site, unauthorized access, or other improper conduct.
- Any other conduct that the Operator deems inappropriate.
5. Removal of Listings
If the Operator determines that a listing violates these Terms, it may remove that listing without prior notice to the user.
6. Transactions Between Users
The Site provides a place to publish information. Transactions such as applying for jobs, renting housing, and buying or selling goods are carried out entirely at the responsibility of the users involved.
The Operator is not a party to such transactions and bears no responsibility for their formation, content, or performance.
Any disputes that arise between users shall be resolved between the parties concerned.
7. Disclaimer
The Operator does not warrant the accuracy, currency, or usefulness of information posted on the Site.
The Operator is not liable for any damage incurred by users as a result of using, or being unable to use, the Site.
The Site may be temporarily suspended or interrupted without notice due to maintenance, failures, or other reasons.
8. Changes to and Termination of the Service
The Operator may change the content of the Site, or terminate the provision of the Site, without prior notice to users.
9. Changes to These Terms
The Operator may change these Terms as necessary. The revised Terms take effect when posted on the Site.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are interpreted in accordance with the laws of Japan. If a dispute arises between a user and the Operator in connection with the Site, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Operator shall be the court of exclusive jurisdiction for the first instance.
