Mishima-san's Moss Phlox Garden (Kutchan)

A private garden opened to visitors, famous for moss phlox. It usually peaks around May, but timing varies each year. It's someone's home, so be considerate.

The owner grows the buckwheat and makes the noodles with Mt Yotei spring water. Closed Wednesdays and Thursdays.

A park where Mt Yotei's spring water wells up, with a waterfall, streams and wooden bridges. Plenty of locals come to fill bottles — bring one if you like.
