Foreign-issued credit/debit cards work at Seven Bank ATMs (inside 7-Eleven stores) and Japan Post Bank (Yucho) ATMs. Most are available during store hours — convenience stores are usually open 24h.

The Niseko area has 7-Eleven, Lawson and Seicomart (Hokkaido's local chain). They cluster around Kutchan Station and along the Hirafu slope, and most are open 24h. You can also use ATMs, pay bills and pick up parcels there.
