Niseko Hub Editorial Team · 2026/05/19

The Niseko area, blessed with magnificent nature and excellent water, is one of the finest hot-spring destinations in Hokkaido.
Warming up after a day of skiing or snowboarding, of course. But also a pause on the way home from work, or a break between sightseeing — an onsen is a welcome friend.
Once you start working here, the onsen often becomes the thing you look forward to most.
This article introduces 14 day-use hot springs registered in Niseko Hub's "Machinavi" local directory, organised by area.

Making the most of the onsen
Water and atmosphere differ quite a bit from one facility to the next.
Famous springs known for their milky-white water. Open-air baths with sweeping views. Easy day-use spots right by the station.
Being able to choose by your own taste is part of the charm of Niseko's hot springs.
You can find maps and details for each facility on the onsen page of Niseko Hub's "Machinavi."
Start with somewhere nearby. Once you've settled in, venture a little further.
In a Niseko of snow and rising steam, may you find a favourite bath of your own.
