DAY 19

Just 行きます with no ぜひ
CAUSE You translated 'yes I'll go' literally
FIX Add ぜひ. 行きます alone is flat; ぜひ、行きます reads as genuine enthusiasm.
CAUSE English 'no I can't' feels polite enough
FIX A bare 行きません sounds cold. Always lead with 残念ですが or すみません, give a reason, close with また今度.
Blaming the person ('you invited too late')
CAUSE You want to explain the real reason
FIX Blame the schedule, not the person: Keeps the relationship intact.
